This Privacy Policy explains how Salonipy ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information when you use our salon & spa management software, mobile app and website at salonipy.com (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information — your name, salon/business name, email address and phone number when you sign up.
  • Business data you enter — appointments, customers, sales, invoices, expenses, staff, services, products and related records you add to run your salon.
  • Payment information — when you subscribe, we record the plan, amount and method (e.g. bank transfer or wallet) for activation. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage & device data — basic technical information such as browser, device type and approximate country (used to show prices in your local currency).

2. How we use your information

  • To provide, operate and improve the Service and your account.
  • To process subscriptions and activate or renew your plan.
  • To send important account, support and service messages.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests.

3. Your business and client data

The data you enter belongs to you. We act as a processor of that information solely to provide the Service. We do not sell your data or your clients' data. WhatsApp reminders and campaigns are sent from your own device/number — Salonipy does not message your clients on your behalf.

4. Service providers

We use trusted third parties to run the Service, including Google Firebase (authentication, database and hosting) and our web host. These providers process data only to deliver the Service and are bound by their own privacy and security terms.

5. Cookies & local storage

We use local storage and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences (such as your currency) and enable offline use. We do not use advertising trackers.

6. Data security

Your data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and stored on secure cloud infrastructure with access controls. While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

7. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request export or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. When an account is deleted, associated data is removed from active systems.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@salonipy.com.

9. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
